When War ends, Death is the result. Given that there are four horsemen of the apocalypse, we can expect some snake-eating subsistence with Famine, while Pestilence engulfs the world with the bubonic plague. Jokes aside, everything that the original Darksiders did well is improved upon, with several (though not all) of its biggest issues fixed. Vigil Games have created a better experience which shouldn’t be missed by those who are either invested in the series or simply a sucker for hack ‘n’ slash.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.
