Ranked Big Team Battle is Live in Halo 3

This week, Ranked Big Team Battle arrives in Halo 3's matchmaking playlists. This playlist is an eight versus eight playlist with a focus on Slayer and objective games. Like Halo 2's Big Team Battle, there is a tilt toward Slayer gametypes.

Here's a quick and dirty breakdown of what gametypes, maps and rules have been incorporated into the first release of Ranked Big Team Battle.

Primary Weapon: Battle Rifle
Secondary Weapon: Assault Rifle

Gametypes: Team Slayer, Multi Flag CTF, One Flag CTF, Neutral Bomb Assault, One Bomb Assault, Territories

Maps: Last Resort, Standoff, Valhalla, Valhalla Covies, Rat's Nest, Sandtrap, Sandtrap Covies

OMG I almost got my first INVINCIBLE!!! I had 28 kills in a row and died by some BS Laser.

The other day I got my first invincible plus a perfection lolz...
And then I was 3 kills away from another perfection when my team mate came up to me and betrayed me on purpose.

if we are making a wish list i would rather have things split between a dedicated slayer btb and skirmish btb

i lost interest in halo 3 even though i was a very big halo fan.

i really tired of having to play Shot/sniper every other game type.

my one wish is that they make shot/sniper a play list on its own. that way anyone who enjoys playing that can whenever they want and for those of us who suck with the sniper, we can enjoy picking up other guns.

i never had a problem with the sniper in the other halo games and have never had a problem with the sniper in any other fps game i can think of, but i just can't use it in halo 3.

that in itself is not a problem, rather then complain, i would rather compensate by using other weapons. problem is everytime i just want a simple slayer game, i get forced into shot/snipes. I know bungie said they had fixed it but the last time i played i still found myself playing it way more often then i would like.

maybe i will give it a swing again, or i will just stick with COD4.
