Ubisoft reconfirms Assassin's Creed 3 PC DX11 support; will feature Higher Resolution Textures

DSOGaming writes: "We seriously don’t know whether we should be excited about the following news or not. You see, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC was advertised as a great PC port from Ubisoft and what we got was an un-optimized console port that had major CPU issues/limitations. Not only that, but the DX11 features that were added were not polished and it took Ubisoft a couple of months to fix a number of performance issues. Therefore, the fact that Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11 features and higher resolution textures is both a good and a bad sign."

I understand the skepticism, but keep in mind that AC3 runs on a completely different engine from Future Soldier, so that doesn't exactly mean anything. The past AC games have run fine on my rigs, so I'm optimistic about this.
