Top 5 Best Bad Voice Acting in Gaming - Part 1

GG writes: Bad voice acting is a guilty pleasure for some. I am in the minority that actually thinks that bad voice acting is pretty entertaining. While yes, I do think bad voice acting can tarnish a great game (especially if the game is near perfect in every other aspect like the after mentioned Metal Gear Solid and Persona 4,) for mediocre, less polished games, terrible voice acting can actually make a game more memorable. These games can give you those same chuckles, giggles, and rolling-on-the-floor-laughing moments you get when watching a good comedy movie.

Hi guys, this is Jangta, the author of this article from Green Tea Graffiti. I'm truly humbled to have this shared on the N4G network.

We're actually in the process of updating this article. The original article was published two and a half years ago on our old servers.

Stay tuned here and we'll have the updated version by tomorrow.

Thanks guys!

The updated version should be: "Best Bad Voice Acting In Gaming In The Last Decade."

FF13-2 had some cheesy lines and terrible voice acting (Ali Hillis rocked as Lightening's VA though).

Sounds good. I'll take note of your suggestions. Thanks Kin23g!

The fact that Resident Evil isn't number one on the list and it's actually showing me games I've never heard of is pretty surprising and refreshing, it's startling how many of these damn things there are.

You're telling me. There's a lot more of these bad voice acting "gems" in the video game industry too :).

Come on Two Worlds has to be the best bad voice acting. It’s combined with the best bad dialogue. It’s virtually made for MST2K.

I used to talk back to the characters ("I don't think that word means what you think that word means") and even join in ("its Raining!!"). Ah good times, good times....
