Overall, the best games often sell very well. But does that mean the highest-rated titles are the most fun for you? Or do you have more eclectic taste?
no next question. games i have really enjoyied this gen legendary, valkeryia chronicles dragons dogma uncharted 1/2/3 mirrors edge gt5 jurrassic the hunted dark void hawx mostly poor sellers with interesting things to say for them :)
Nope. Earth Defense Force Armageddon says hey.
Hah yeah EDF was a total stinker but it still managed to be really fun.
Nope. Resonance of Fate The Darkness II Dark Sector Gravity Rush Monster Hunter (PS2) had a 5.0 on MC Dynasty Warriors (since 2) Shinobido 2 Tenchu Z (My reason for buying a X360) Hard Corps: Uprising Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (100+ hours) Ninja Gaiden (B,2,S,S2,3) And that's just off the top of my head, reviews mean nothing to me, my taste in games is kinda strange, so I don't listen to reviewers.
Yep, your taste is definitely strange.
I HATED ng3. It was a terrible game. Literally the same thing for 6 hours. No strategy or planning attacks because all the enemies were exactly the same.
While not as good as 2/S2, It had the best story, and I have hopes that the next game restores the gameplay of NG, with the story of 3. 3 was not the greatest game, true, but I enjoyed it, but hope the improve it to it's former glory.
Yes and no. Loved Batman: Arkham City and Uncharted 2. Skyrim and Uncharted 3...not so much.
I hardly ever listen to anyone who says the game is high rated. I have fallen into that trap too many time listening to people cry that it is the greatest game ever, I buy it and it isn't even close and I end up selling it. GTA4 and Oblivion are no longer in my possession. I let my own instincts about a game guide me.For example no matter how much people rave about Darksiders 2 being the most wonderful game ever I have a feeling it isn't as great as people keep saying it is. So I am not going to buy it at all.
Starhawk and Warhawk are the most fun multiplayers with the lowest ratings and poorest sales ive had this gen.
I don't care what a game's rated when it comes to my playing it or not. I play what I enjoy. If it's highly rated, so be it. If not, oh, well.
