1up has some new details about Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom in their latest preview. For instance, unlike previous titles in the Untold Legends series, potions are out. No stocking up and chugging the things like crazy to get through boss fights. Hopefully it'll be something that'll encourage strategy without making things too frustrating.
Also, item drops look to be cut way back. Producer Andy Sites says "the majority of items found should be worth equipping," though we can't help but be concerned about that. While we agree that bad guys popping out items like piñatas full of swords can be kind of silly, half the fun of hack-n-slashery is hoping that the next drop might be a Stealthy Asscleaver of Wailing or whatever. The less frequently drops happen, even if they're mostly crap, the less compelling it is to keep on murdering skeletons.
While nothing is set in stone yet, it turns out the game may be incorporating the new tilting feature of the PS3 controller as well. At the moment it's being considered for actions like dodging and/or use in environment puzzles.
Finally, following the lead of titles like Oblivion, Dark Kingdom will be incorporating downloadable content following its release. This should include extra ending chapters for each of the game's characters, new characters in addition to the three the game will be released with, and new arenas and versus modes.
The PS3 has had some amazing games and great series however these five should wait until the new PS4 comes out before they have another sequel.
White Knight Chronicles done right?
That is a compressive single player where you're fifth-wheel character isn't and actual fifth-wheel. Isn't both invisible and valueless to the plot.
Maybe Ninja Theory will pull their heads out their asses and make Heavenly Sword 2. FAILED at enslaved FAILED at Devil May Cry...when will they take the hint STICK WITH WHAT YOUR GOOD AT! Go back to your original and successful IP heavenly sword. People WANT IT!
Oblivion, Kingdom Hearts II, Tales of the Abyss, Final Fantasy XII, Neverwinter Nights 2, some Final Fantasy remakes, Suikoden V, Xenosaga III, and many others were the RPGs gamers played in 2006.
NoBSGamers writes: "You may remember the posting, Four Budget Games Worth Playing, all of the games on that listing were for the older systems (PS2, Game Cube, Xbox). Today we are going to look for the best of the budget games for the next generation systems*."
I found Assassin's Creed to be fun but at the same time repetitive.
It's definitely worth a rental but nothing more.
Dark Sector is fun but I'm still suck on a level and I don't know what to do. >:(
Dark Kingdom is ok not the best PS3 Exclusive in the world but still good.
Prey is so awesome. It's such an underrated game. (3D Realms rocks!)
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Not the best in the franchise and besides I don't like the band Aerosmith.
Tomb Raider = Gay! (Uncharted is so much better now then Tomb Raider. Seriously.)
Star Trek Conquest (I'm not sure but I'll give it a try.)
This games seem to be improving rapidly. Looking great, and will be on buy list for sure.
Looks like Ninety Nine Night for 360 coming out in august, so it does look good. I seem to remember ssj04 bashing ninety nine nights, to me they look the same.
