Is anyone really surprised? It makes sense to do it now, rather than as a Treyarch port in a year or two, as has been the previous (terrible) system.

It's more interesting that the Wii U version is dated for Nov 13th, which implys that the Wii U will be out by then.

Probably a guestimate imo

ICC_062778d ago

Yeah I think it's a guess. Probably because Activision don't know the date, so they just listed the multiplatform date for retailers. So it'll really be released any time between Nov 13 and when the Wii U actually launches (late Nov, early Dec depending where you live).

Or, they gonna release it before the console...

I think it's more significant pointing out that Black Ops 2 could very well be a Wii U launch title. That sets them up to dominate!

To Dominate what exactly the game will be out on 360 and PS3 at least a month before WiiU, and MS still has the DLC first. 7 million copies of that game will be bought before WIIU even comes out.... It Does help them show of 3rd party support for major games that will help Nintendo.

I really believe the Wii U is going to launch in October. I'm ready for it. Even though I can care less for what the FPS genre has become

I'm not really surprised but i doubt Black Ops 2 will support the Wii U's gamepad since i think they already stated they weren't.

It would help Nintendo if Black Ops 2 was a launch title, especially if they offer multiple control options, or better yet, bundle in one of those Pro controllers with the game.
