Here are 11 new screenshots of Forza 2 fresh from X06.
WOW! Look at the cars reflecting each other. Woot!
Sure does and its seems to be in a very high resolution
What a turnaround from the last screenshot, I am going to pick this game up as well. Watch out GT:HD. LOL
Oh yeahs Forza 2 it'll be great again. Nice screenshots!!! And they got the grass and curbstones better also this time
I'll start of saying i think does screens look very good. I do think they look nice. But i gotta give the other end of the arguement. And I'm purely saying this as a comparison between Gran Turismo and Forza. I still think Forza 2 looks great Forza has always had this certain look about it that never quite looks...real. Bear with me, i'll explain. Yes, the graphics look good. But the cars never look like, there ACTUALLY there. With Gran Turismo 4, Polyphony Digital actually touched down the sharpness on the cars, because they wanted to make the cars look like they were actually driving on the track. And the end effect was fantastic. Even with Forza 2, yeah the cars look great, but does it look like something you'd see if you popped your head out the bedroom window? Like every Xbox 360 racer, the vehicles are VERY shiny, VERY sharp, and because of that, they never look like they are really there on the track. Compare this picture from GTHD with ANY of the pictures of Forza 2 and you'll notice the difference: http://uk.media.ps3.ign.com... The car actually looks like its there. And look at image 5 of the Forza 2 images, geez But I'm purely saying this as a comparison between Gran Turismo and Forza. I still think Forza 2 looks great
with you, GT looks more "photo-realistic" but i would say that overall Forza is the better game.
Well neither games are released yet so we don't know what game will be better However, I'm fairly confident Forza 2 will be a better game than GTHD. Purely because GTHD is not a proper game, it's more of a quick fix of Gran Turismo for PS3. The real test will be when Gran Turismo 5 is released and personally, i think GT5 will slaughter Forza 2. GT5 also has car damage. And when Polyphony Digital want to do something, they want to do it perfectly. So expect the car damage to be incredible in GT5. Unlike the forza series which has crap car damage, just as the excuse so they can say, "This game has car damage". In Forza, you go like 150mph into a wall, and the front bumper snaps off. *Clap* *Clap* well done guys It's Gran Turismo 5 for me
That screenshot you have a link for looks awesome, I hope it looks like that in real time.
I am a big xbox fan, but I gotta say, GT looks sooo much better. It's not just the cars. It almost looks like PS3 is using photos and overlaying them on polygons. Also, look a the roads. Every inch looks better on GT. Also, the terain on GT looks seemless. However, on the PS3 has anyone else noticed that they heavily use motion blur whenever there is quick movements on the screen? I think it is some technique to avoid a drop in framerate. It definately looks better than a drop in framerate, however, it doesn't look quite right either.
Ive played all GT games 3 and 4 and i won,t be getting gt hd why just because it will have a little better graphics over the ps2 version, its best if you say GT5 V Forza 2 or 3 - but not gt hd lol. Anyway forza 2 is a must buy for me. IM OUT.
Judge GT5 when it comes out, not on some half ass`ed 2 track demo or whatever you want to call it. Make no mistake, both developers know how to wring every last drop of performance out of both machines, expect both Forza 2 and GT5 to look stunning, when both turn up. this is of course in terms of gfx, the mere fact they offer differing gameplay can only be good for us gamers. if they both played the same......it would be terribly dull wouldn`t it?
LOL, almost forgot, its about time devs started to add other car reflections !!! looks very impressive.
These screenshots are in 1080 i dont know if its i or p but they are way bigger than 720p garunteed garunteed. i know this because i watch apple trailers in 1080p an they are the exact same size as these screens when maximized
