Alright space junkies, it’s time to talk about Kalypso’s new sci-fi simulation, turn based, real time strategy game – Legends of Pegasus. After humanity is practically eradicated by an alien force, all but a hand full of ships and some colonists find themselves in a foreign star system. Earth is lost. You are put in charge of reestablishing the human race, spread to other planets, defend from assaulting aliens, and find revenge. This is the human faction’s goals.
Novacore Studios has released new updates for space colonization game Legends of Pegasus, available for game owners to download on Steam now. These updates make a number of refinements to the ship editor and planet management, along with fixes and improvements to other aspects of the game.
From Strategyinformer.com: "Oh dear… I don’t know what it is at the moment, but people seem to be struggling with the space 4X genre right now. Endless Space was good, but a bit uninspiring. Sword of the Stars II was a disaster... and now Legends of Pegasus has failed to live up to expectations. Maybe they didn’t have as many resources or time, or maybe they too were just a bit over-ambitious, but the end result is a game that you should hesitate to jump into without some kind of discount".
I was suspicious when I couldn't find any gameplay videos before release, all you could find was trailers. It's also a red flag when Steam doesn't add a forum section to the store page of a game, they want to limit fan feedback.
NO surprise for me.
