Kotaku, Tina Amini- I adore The Walking Dead. So when I heard about this drag of a Facebook game Kate wrote about, I worried. This is a game that represents one of my favorite graphic novels, so I worry that the experience of the franchise will be tarnished for a horde of perhaps non-gaming Facebook users. We can do much better than just a series of microtransactions that neglect one of The Walking Dead's strongest features: interactions.
Interactions, social dynamics. The Facebook game is missing what makes The Walking Dead so good: the drama of how people treat each other while in a crisis. And how drastically that drama changes the social dynamic.
Starbreeze Studio developer Georgia Van Cuylenburg previews The Walking Dead virtual reality shooter game for StarVR in this exclusive gameplay interview from TwitchCon 2015.
Walking Dead: The Game and The Walking Dead: Social Game. Both titles indeed carry The Walking Dead name, but make no mistake; they are absolutely different games. One is certainly worthy of The Walking Dead title, and the other is merely for show.
Walking Dead without the drama aspect would be fucking terrible. Why? Because the drama was the point. We've seen pointless zombie games/movies/whatever, they're cool, sure. But shit a litter variety isn't a bad thing.

So a game designed for Facebook isn't as good as a multiplat game by telltale..... Wow what a surprise!
The Walking Dead Social Game is another Facebook game made for a clueless audience willing to throw away their money.
You'll wait, and wait some more; left wondering why you wasted your time.
