Many people have been speculating as to what new content will be introduced into New Super Mario Bros 2; in actual fact, everyone should also be asking about what old content will make it in. It appears that New Super Mario Bros 2 will be heavily influenced by 1988 classic Super Mario Bros 3, which mean only good things for this upcoming release. A sequel that looks back to the early years of the franchise while still implementing fresh new ideas? Gamers should definitely keep an eye on this.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the first Mario 2D game in almost two decades without the New Super Mario art style, and it looks all the better for it
Am I missing something? It looks exactly the same, just higher resolution… Is this sarcasm?
This Mario game looks great, getting a switch for this and Mario RPG. CANT WAIT, TITS JACKED.
Yeah I liked how much more emotion could be conveyed through the new style at first glance I didn't see much difference but then rewatching the trailer I'm seeing more and more animations that remind me of the Mario artwork from the manual of smb3
I hated the new super Mario bros Style. This new one seems a lot more expressive and less generic. I hope it's a good game
I prefer the 2d Mario's. Me and my girl have played them all together and mario galaxy , Mario odyssey. The 2nd player option is extremely eh
It's the Dawn of The Final Days for the 3DS. We've put together a list of the essential 3DS titles you should download now while you still can!
No need for that shit, mod your 3DS and have the whole collection for nothing. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Nintendo will be shutting down the eShop for the 3DS and Wii U completely in 2023. Makes sure to check out these games before they do.
If they're not important enough to be held on their own official storefront then they're not important enough to give your money to Nintendo.
Buy these, physically, used or simply emulate them.
This article comes off as nothing more than advertising games that Nintendo, themselves, don't care to offer you... buy now!
Wait hang on where all the outrage? I swear when Sony tried to do this with PS3 last year. There was outrage from all corners of the gaming universe.
Why does no one care Nintendo is doing it?
It's lame that it is shutting down. Now I feel rushed buying all the rpgs I missed out on the system.
You guys know that even archive.org has 3DS roms, and all other console roms. I'm downloading 846GB of 3DS roms and will add the best games to my soon to be soft modded New 3DS 😁. Might as well throw in DS and other emulators in there to. Guys this would be the best way to play and enjoy the 3DS. Just need to buy a bigger micro SD card and format it to FAT32, which you can if it's even 256GB or larger there are ways.
The good thing about Mario games is that they don't have to change at all. It's fun and addictive either way.
It's sad to see something like this being ignored because stuff like this prove people wrong.
While I, like many loved the old days of sidescrolling Mario, the series has showed its age in this genre.
The levels are beautiful and there is always fun abound, but once you look at it, there are just new power-ups and themes. In my opinion it's showing age.
Nintendo has proven that a Mario in space, a paper Mario, and an RPG can be successful, yet what do we get? Collecting coins and turning gold? Come on, we have seen revolutions in the series much greater than this.
I could be asking the very same thing about Call of Duty. Funny everybody digs on Mario for this but NSMB hasn't seen a sequel since NSMB wii. Thats was in 2009.
Now let me go write that up about Call of Duty, which has been the same thing year after year since long before that.
But releasing 2 New Super Mario Bros games in one season? I wish Nintendo spread their games out more. I would want them to take their time with each Mario game they make rather than rushing them out.
