Review: Ratchet & Clank Trilogy HD - TheParanoidGamer

'If you’re not already a fan of the series, then this HD collection is still worth a look; especially if you’re into 3D platformers. Again, the price definitely helps, as if you’re looking to get into the series then you’ll nab the first three games for under thirty bucks. Luckily, also, being a fan is not required as the games included in Ratchet & Clank Trilogy HD are some of the best examples of 3D platformers in history – a sci-fi Saturday morning cartoon adventure that’s never been just for kids.'

Bought this day one. I love platformers, but unfortunately only Sony and Nintendo supports platformers.

So Microsoft just doesn't allow platform games on their console huh?

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
Deadlight
ilomilo
Poopocalypse
Rayman Origins
Sonic Generations
Sonic Unleashed
Super Meat Boy
Ms. Splosion Man
The Maw
Splosion Man
Banjo-Kazooie (XBLA)
Spelunky
LIMBO
Braid
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Outland
Fez

And those are off the top of my head, guess you cant play any of those on Xbox 360 though huh?

I'm glad they went the full reimagining route. It really shows how far technology has come. The differences here are night and day. Still, watching the video and seeing the original running at 60fps does make me a little sad that Insomniac didn't go for it. Regardless, their recent outing is beautiful and certainly a labor of love.

Well done, Insomniac.
