How right you are. But the September 12th announcement is right around the corner.

Who knows? Maybe Final Fantasy Versus XIII is the conclusion of the Lightning saga. A guy can dream.

I don't want Versus anywhere near FF XIII.

@iamtehpwn
I know its apart of the mythology but its a alternate universe different from FF XIII and darker.

Oh Man, you're gonna be really disappointed when you find out that Versus is part of the myth/series as XIII called Fabual Nova Crystallis.

You mean they're just going to shove the character into Versus story? Make her a grand goddess character who might suddenly be a villain where she's been good?
How is that suppose to be a good thing?

I should have picked my words more carefully... definitely was kidding.

Versus XIII should be a 2-d sprite fighter.

it has XIII in the title... unless they change the name, there's a possibility of that happening.

The whole point of Versus 13 is to be the exact opposite of FF13. 2 groups had an idea of what FF13 should be and only the FFvs13 team knows what they're doing and can make the REAL FF13.

The game will have nothing at all to do with Lightning or anything else in FF13.

Seeing all those characters brings back so many memories over the years of playing Final Fantasy.

" FINAL FANTASY HAD once defined a company, spawned generations of gaming for many, and continues to expand and innovate through its beautiful storytelling, compelling gameplay, and unforgettable music. "

Taken out of context, this statement seems like they just gave up. In context, it's still the same thing.

Uh no the first dragon quest came in japan before the first ff came out in japan...
