Developer RealAxis releases new screenshots from its upcoming puzzle platformer, showing off some of the game's 3D rendered levels and stained glass enemies.
Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Stained is an action-platformer developed by small indie game developer RealAxis Software and is about a character, who looks an awful lot like Death, and a mysterious castle in an abandoned kingdom. As you travel through this seemingly abandoned castle, the story unfolds and you will learn more about who you are and why the once mighty castle has fallen into an abandoned and pitiful state. As you start the game, narration is provided in a husky, gruff voice that explains a little back story and then you are dropped into the game. As RealAxis’s website states that they as developers are in the business of making games that give entirely new experiences.
GG3 writes: "Developer Realaxis of the recently released Steam game Stained has turned face on their word to release Steam keys for previous owners. Here’s another example of why certain indie developers should put their game through a marketing firm."
Duncan of Greenlit Gaming writes: "A once promising civilization, invaded by an army of unspeakable creatures, has been erased from existence. Pushed back in to the depths of their own castle and soon to be killed themselves, the surviving artisans crafted fine stained glass windows, whose colored glass depicted the monsters that threatened to snuff them out. After finding the former King’s journal detailing a treasure hidden deep within, you explore the now lifeless castle. Only now the castle has a means to protect itself from invaders like you. Shattering those panes of glass causes them reanimated as the beasts that once tore through the castle walls."
