The future of games is The Walking Dead, says Matt Lees
Ofcourse someone with a business model will say that...
Though I do enjoy titles with some sort of episodic nature involved. I guess DLC is an extent to my favorable premise towards software, but doesn't always translate well for developers (imo, of course).
the article started out cool until it became a walking dead worship
yeah No these adventure click games... not the future and these 10 bucks for the next chapter type games will not be the future
No thanks, I will stickto those "big budget" titles.
$60 for cinematic, linear set-piece garbage is just awful. Gaming needs to go back to middle-tier creativity. Right now all the unique, solid games are on XBLA. You used to have variety and creativity in retail not one generation ago. Not anymore. Unless it's a genre that absolutelly NEEDS complete control of the pacing (like say, Alan Wake - where the linear game worked MUCH better than the hub-based sequel), the average big budget linear BS needs to die. People that support linear, scripted garbage in action games and shooters are not gamers.
I stopped reading and disagreed at "all unique solid games are on XBLA". That is pretty much the most f'in retarded statement ever
I am sick of these "future of gaming" articles
I was interested in the game until I saw you had to buy episodes of the game. Screw that!
