Hello everyone, i am THEPLAYGAMER3. 30 Minutes of Game is my new series where i play the first 30 minutes of a random PS1 game.
Alundra (アランドラ Arandora?), released in Europe as The Adventures of Alundra, is an action-adventure game developed by Matrix Software for the Sony PlayStation and was released in 1997. It was published by Sony in Japan, Working Designs in North America, and Psygnosis in Europe.
It won great critical acclaim for its bizarre story and smooth game mechanics. The game's protagonist is a boy named Alundra, who learns that he has the power to enter people's dreams. He is shipwrecked near the village of Inoa and proceeds to try to help the locals, who have been suffering from a terrible curse. The narrative becomes gradually darker and more twisted as the game progresses.
Take a look at some PS1 game prices that have really taken off over the past 2 years. Some are trending much higher, but a few have dipped recently and it might be your last shot to get them into your collection affordably.
Sorry Crash, but there are quite a few other characters gamers would rather see back on the big screen instead of you. No hard feelings, eh?
Dark Cliud and Legend of Dragoon would be great. But imagine how Sony could do so well in the mobile market with games like these. They should have done what Nintendo did offering PS Now etc on a device that also plays cheap mobile games. Sony could easily rival Samsung!
I hate sites that make you click 10 times to read the "article". In any case, they should obviously bring back Colony Wars. They totally got it wrong with No Man's Sky.
Twisted Metal with lots of environmental destruction. For those that played the PS3 games, was it any good??
The From A to Z series lets our editors go back and take a look at games from past generations that are classics, overlooked gems, or just titles they remember fondly. The idea behind this is to pick five games from each letter of the alphabet, once a week to showcase. This delivers 26 weeks and 130 games to talk about. Hopefully it sparks some conversation, and of course plenty of memories.
Our first series will focus on Sony’s first entry into the console business, the PlayStation.
Let’s start with the letter “A”.
