I kind of agree with what they say here. You can't have major changes to an HD update or older fans will complain. At the same time, not enough changes (fixes) and people will also complain.

True, but something like split-screen, wasn't that there since the beginning? Why should that have been taken out? I don't think either side would have complained if split-screen WAS left intact...

Def can't argue with you there.

probably a financial decision - the more features there are, the more they cost to polish. Framerate etc needs polishing in an HD remake.

I agree that they couldn't make major changes, but there is a lot though could have tweaked, like the often wonky physics or getting cought on objects etc.

Likewise the camera could have been tweaked a little.

I would have actually have liked them to put in custom skater option. Sure, it would have been a major change, but a good one I feel that nobody could have really complained about.

I disagreed with you because I feel like a developer in this situation needs to come down on one side or the other and not half-ass it like they did. You either stick to the originals, or you make your changes and commit to it.

Robomodo didn't do either of those things.

I don't know.

I sort of viewed this as something for the longtime fans. At least that is what I was hoping for. This doesn't really feel like the classic experiences, nor is it something that really holds up by today's standards either.

the perfect remake imo is Halo Ce anniversary, it kept the same feel while updating the gfx, i played THPS HD and it was nice but i was disappointed by the fact that

1- the controls aren't as responsive as they should, there is delay in the control

2- the gameplay is outdated,my fav TH game ever was THUG 2, there are reverts(from THPS3), ramp transfer(from THPS4) on foot running(from THUG 1), slow motion, wall stamping(in THUG 2), variation while in grind or manual, u can roll by double tapping the d-pad TWICE in the same direction, all of these make THPS HD shallow in comparison, don't get me wrong THPS2, 3 and 4 were legendary at their time but time moves

3- THPS 3, THPS 4, THUG 1 and THUG 2 were running at a smooth 60 FPS which is essential for a smooth skating experience
