Wii used for PE lessons in schools

The Wii could become an important tool for use in schools PC lessons, that's according to a surprising report by the Daily Mail.

Five schools in Worcestershire are encouraging children to participate in PE lessons by using the Wii as a virtual sports kit that appears to be helping with weight and keeping the children relatively fit.

A spokesperson for the Droitwich and Worcester City School Partnership has said:
"The use of computer games to increase physical activity levels and raise attainment to some would seem contradictory but with rigid structures in place and by using specific games students soon found themselves being active and engaged almost without realising it,"

games are a great way to get kids involved in anything. My brother broke his wrist and had surgery on it, and in his physio-therapy he mainly plays computer games that are designed for this stuff, it has a cool force feedback controller too and it really does help
