Touch Arcade: Coming up with just one word to describe Hasta La Muerte [ $0.99 ] is easy, it's different. Different in that it doesn't play much like any other games on iOS these days, and has a crazy visual style to go along with it.
Hasta La Muerte has you moving around levels collecting souls and finding the exit before being killed by giant mustaches. You're encouraged to do this as quickly as possible, with the incentive being a higher score to impress your friends. Each level has a certain amount of souls to collect, and each level is harder than the last. Fortunately, the controls in the game work great making each level seem possible to master.

This week BulkyPix is putting ten games on sale, five of which are available on Android devices.
AppAdvice: Though the storyline is a bit dark, the art style is not. It’s hand drawn and entirely unique. As a reviewer, I see a lot of iOS games, and I’m always immediately attracted to the games that stand out. Hasta La Muerte is definitely one of those games.
John Bedford (Modojo): At the end of last month, we had an early look at Hasta la Muerte, Pohlm Studio's intriguing tale from the land of the dead. Featuring a character dispatched to the underworld in order to usher poor souls into the next world, it offered an intriguing change of pace from the typical mobile fare.
The game's been released on the App Store today and we've gone deeper with the title to look at how the game's turned out, and what you can expect from the final release.
