Doobic Game Studios are gonna make the PC and Tablet version of Devil's Third. Just click the article....

The problem is that THQ abandoned the project so who is gonna publish the game anyway?

Devil's Third Low Retail Stock Leads To Scalpers Selling Overpriced Copies

We sincerely hope no one is willing to pay these prices for the game - but it does have fans, so it really could be happening.

EBay is outrageous, with $200+ however those are buy it now prices that are probably just to test the water for desperate buyers willing to pay a premium. Either way it is rare, I considered riding out to a fairly local GS and buying a copy or two but my luck it would get restocked and I have a game worth $5 after spending $120 on two copies.

spurgeonryan3471d ago

130 dollars currently on Amazon and no copies of this game available with in 150 miles of me. Even then when I call they say they cannot find the game. People are stealing the empty case?

superchiller3471d ago

This is going to be a hugely collectible game, if you see it anywhere in the wild, buy it ASAP!

marloc_x3471d ago

All gone here, eshop it is👍

Lonnie183471d ago

Sooo let me get this right, Nintendo decided to garner interest in this poorly reviewed game by making limited supply. They are wildly ones!

XisThatKid3471d ago

Hmm I guess all those amiibo shortages were all legit :/

Classy. Get to work on those patches! I still may get this for the online play.

XBLSkull3577d ago (Edited 3577d ago )

Bummer for the stinker, NG 1 and 2, X/X360, were the two greatest action games of all time. Both games on the easiest settings made God of War on its hardest setting feel like childs play, and made that franchise a complete joke.

Roccetarius3577d ago (Edited 3577d ago )

As i've said previously, games like Ninja Gaiden and DMC never got the credit they're due, but GoW is the mainstream.

Ninja Gaiden especially forced me to up my reflexes. :P

PS: Spotie on the spot to defend the Playstation. Sigma on the PS was definitely not hte better version.

Spotie3577d ago

You're Killing me, XBL. Also, you do recall the better Sigma versions that graced Playstation consoles, right?

SuperLupe3577d ago

Gameplay in NG games were pretty much perfect.

But GOW got all the other production values right so it's more mainstream.

wonderfulmonkeyman3577d ago (Edited 3577d ago )

I love Ninja Gaiden, but in terms of set pieces and over-the-top combo action, Bayonetta felt more fun to play.
I played that more on my PS3 than any other hack&slasher for good reason.

Haru3577d ago

God of war is a different type of game how did you even come to compare these two games is beyond me, but I guess you wouldn't know that since you don't even own a playstation and you probably never played gow just trolling like usual

Concertoine3577d ago

@Spotie

It was basically the same as the original games but censored as crap, no new game+, and an extra weapon and boss. Only significant advantage was it looked better.

NG Black is generally considered to be the more difficult and preferred version...

Also still interested in the online play, but that's what the PC version is, and that won't suffer the same control issues. May well have it's own issues, but aiming shouldn't be one of them.

Hopefully his next game will be better, and won't take 5 years...

N4g_null3577d ago

Fair enough I'm just interested in the melee vs shooter gameplay.

pcz3577d ago

he should be apologising to everyone who plays it, not thanking them

marloc_x3577d ago

Lol..some are really enjoying it though and this is classy of Itagaki. Day one here :)

bouzebbal3577d ago

tbh the game looks fun on the videos. def a buy for me but not right now.

wonderfulmonkeyman3577d ago

Pinch me, I'm dreaming: He actually admitted to the reviews being fair.XD

I hope there's something he can do through patches to make the game feel better.
Maybe some more varied melee combat and the removal of those ridiculous Golden Eggs...

MSBAUSTX3577d ago (Edited 3577d ago )

The problem is that if the game is $h!t it doesn't matter how many coats of gold paint you put on it. The bottom line will still be $h!t. I don't know if it is or not yet. I will likely buy it at some point but at 60 to 75 percent off the middle of next summer.

wonderfulmonkeyman3577d ago

Getting the game up to a review standard of at least 6 would help it immensely.
I think he can accomplish that much easily by taking out the pay-to-win element.XD

N4g_null3577d ago

Not necessarily there have been ok games pulled from the fire... just look at most of our AAA games on ps4 and xbone. Anything can happen with dlc!

pcz3577d ago

maybe nothing, not even your desperate, overly optimistic fanboyism can help the game because it is simply bad on every level, from concept to execution.

noooooo there is still hope... please

Neonridr3576d ago

do you get tired of listening to yourself ever?

PlatinumGX3577d ago

Hopefully they fix the framerate issues.

Mega_Volnutt3577d ago

What where they doing all this years with the game?? Playing poker in the office?? I'm still getting the game for the multiplayer, but not for the full price as it is right now. It's not fair, that I'm buying a game for it's multiplayer only, when its going to be available on Steam for free and maybe it's gunna be a superior experience than the console version.

Segata3577d ago

switched 3 engines and 2 publishers. It was a rough development.

benji1013577d ago

I think another thing was, who are his team? We know who itagaki is.. but we dont know who he could get to work with him. Team Ninja is still at Tecmokoi.
