And holy boy does it look sexy. knj has managed to perfectly match the art style and the atmosphere of the concept art. The first image below is the concept art and the two others are from the in-engine map."
Human Revolution was one of my favorite games in 2012. Very good stealth mechanics coupled with fantastic atmosphere set a really nice pace for the plot. Loved every second of it, though in the Director's Cut, I'm glad they added non-confrontational means of taking down the bosses.
The Indie Graphics Builder enters its final stage of development, before coming to Steam, by crowd-funding on Kickstarter. The IGB is a comprehensive "Build your own" graphics suite for indie developers.
The graphics are meant for use with any 2D compatible game engine.
"For way less then the price you'd pay an artist to make graphics for your game, with IGB, you can create animations, characters, spaceships, maps, platforms, puzzles, icons, menu's, by yourself."
If stretch goals are met, the Indie Graphics Builder will feature 30,000 graphics in many genre's and styles. Kickstarter backers won't have to wait long. They will receive 10,000 assets soon after the Kickstarter's end.
DSOGaming writes: "Anton has done an astounding work with his terrain and water materials, and his waterfalls look absolutely gorgeous. Antarctica has never looked this beautiful and if this footage is anything to go by, we can expect some truly mind-blowing things once talented users such as Anton get their hands on Unreal Engine 4."
I got to admit, It looks quite nice.
Why don't games ever go back to Antarctica... I love the snow scene in games...
