Kotaku- You'll find things when you explore the disease-destroyed world of The Last of Us. Some of those things—weapons and ammo and other items that you need to survive the game's post-apocalypse—will be physical. Other discoverables will come in the form of information, like the fact that Ellie—the 14-year-old girl that players will be protecting in the PS3 exclusive—has never seen a movie.
Well...yeah
Civilization is destroyed, people are killing each other to survive, fungus turning people into monsters
And your surprised there are no more movies?
On the other hand... I really like the fact there is stuff scattered around the game that adds to the story
Its like the voice recordings from Bioshock, or Subject 16's puzzles in Assassins creed
I really hope they hide some of these well in the game and not just in your face all the time. This would help the wide-linear approach they are taking in the game.
