I've been playing through it for the first time on the Switch. It's pretty good. It's scratched my action RPG itch a bit and it's a unique game for the series. I would love to see a 3rd person remake one day.

Ys: Memories of Calceta was the best Vita game I have ever played. It was perfect on that system.

Ys Origin is freaking amazing... Challenging bosses, good story, great characters, awesome music, different storylines per character, online leaderboards for boss battles... Doesn't get much better than that, one of the best games I've played in recent years.
