A Japanese record label 5pb has released a two minutes promotion video for voice actress Yumi Hara's first solo single "HANABI feat. Asami Imai" on YouTube. As the title indicates, another voice actress Asami Imai joins her as backing singer.
The song is also used as the ED theme for the up-coming PSP game "Corpse Party -The Anthology- Sachiko no Renai Yugi Hysteric Birthday 2U".
Corpse Party is quite a game. This is a title that’s gone from an adventure game Makoto Kedouin made in 1996 with the very first RPG Maker game to something that’s been remade, updated and posted to handhelds, consoles and smartphones. And not just in Japan. This is a game that’s been released worldwide.
While Xseed are interested in localizing Corpse Party: Blood Drive on PS Vita, the final Corpse Party game on PSP, Sachiko’s Game of Love – Hysteric Birthday 2U, isn’t on their radar.

Corpse Party on PSP. What more can you say about it? In my previous PlayStation.Blog entries, I’ve likened it to horror classics such as Clock Tower and Fatal Frame. I’ve talked about how it’s one of the creepiest, most effective horror games I’ve ever played, and how its unique visuals, its 3D binaural audio and its storytelling methods help give it an uncomfortable, unforgettable atmosphere. And you, fair players… you agreed with me. You played it late at night with headphones on, just as I suggested, and it kept you awake. It haunted your nightmares and made you jump every time your house creaked or your neighbor’s kids smacked the wall… until you realized, wait a minute, I don’t have any neighbors!
YES! So happy this is getting released in NA. I know it's not the actual sequel, but with this being released, I'm sure Xseed will go for Corpse Party 2 next!
If you haven't played the first one, you NEED to. It's such a fantastic game I went out of my way to get every single ending. Such a refreshing concept, it certainly deserves all the sales it can get.
Agreed, Celceta looks so amazing from what I've seen so far. I doubt Xseed will let us down, they've brought over just about every other Ys as of late. :]
This is great news! I'll be purchasing both. :)
I wish at least one of them were Vita titles though. The gameplay lends itself well to a touch screen.
