IGN - Political Correctness: A Different View

IGN - Yesterday my colleague Colin Moriarty wrote an opinion piece on “the problem with political correctness’, arguing that “abstract notions of being offended and hurt feelings” are “strangling creativity”.

The article has attracted nearly 2,000 comments and plenty of Twitter debate. Internally at IGN, a range of opinions have been expressed. Throughout yesterday Colin and I enjoyed a friendly, vigorous exchange of views on this subject. It’s fair to say that I disagree with him although, of course, we should all welcome the opportunity to talk about something as important and interesting as freedom of speech and of creativity.

The story is too old to be commented.

A much more reasonable take. Though people don't have the "right" to be treated well by videogames. That ain't in no constitution I've ever read.
