Overcoming Video Game Hoarding

GTMAM: I have been playing video games as far back as I can remember. I inherited my sister’s NES with the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt bundle, which is the best bundle of all time in my opinion. Though I wouldn’t call that little boy killing time between playing outside a gamer, however the groundwork was set for a lifetime of gaming infatuation.

Somehow what was once a pure love for this passionate hobby of mine slowly degenerated into a cynical begrudging use of time. Dont get me wrong, I am still a gamer, I love playing games. Though I’ve become a game hoarder, meaning I am more concerned with owning the games than playing them. Read on and find out if you have the same problem and what you can do to fix it.

The story is too old to be commented.

I do... I know I do... Lol, I've got like 15 games on my Steam that I've never even touched yet simply because they were on sale in some form or another.

Farsendor12310d ago

That is... not that bad.

I have 133 games that I've yet to play.
(There's an additional 40 games that I've played for around an hour or less and forgot about them)

Still pales in comparison to Farsendor who has 276 games never played. =/

It's not hoarding it's collecting.

I'm still in disbelief that there is a company as big as Valve that still cares about customers. :)

My faith in humanity hangs by a thread...and that thread is Valve.

Before the steam sale, around 10 games, now currently around 40 and its not even over yet haha you win steam, you win. For some of these sales, it would be a crime not to buy them.
