Digital Chumps - Battlefield Close Quarters denies me the trade and gift I'm use to in the series. It tells me that I need to grab a PP2000 with x4 sights and run around like a mad man, who continually gets deployed back into the game as if there is some ADHD child respawning me back into action continually. It's an entirely new ballgame, and one that I consider most likely the brother of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 than anything else. Is that sort of comparison fair? Absolutely.
On the occasion of E3 and the fact that the mass disclose details about the upcoming Battlefield 4, EA decided to give away for free one of the most interesting additions to Battlefield 3 - Close Quarters. All well and good, but it disappeared from the PS Store.
Go into the game and it will send you a message to download it from the game. It's already free.
There is a photo attached to text showing there's no Close Quarters in in-game store. So, that doesn't help.
To celebrate the unveiling of Battlefield 4 and the 1 billion hours of Battlefield 3, the Close Quarters DLC is being given away for free to anyone that plays Battlefield 3.
I may not even buy BF4 premium. I bought Bf3 at launch for 64 dollars and premium for 49.99. Thats over 100 dollars. A couple months later they decide to sell the "Premium version" for 59.99.
The maps are alright, but the real biggie here is the weapons that come with the DLC.
My favorite weapons are pretty much all from CQ aside for the AS Val.
Nice. It's actually the only DLC i didn't buy haha.Time to jump back in the battlefield
lol so a year and a half later, they give away the worst DLC pack of the bunch. Well it's free anyway.
Why does it have to be the crappiest of all DLCs?
I couldn't stand close quarters.
FanBolt writes: "If you are like me and never had the opportunity to check out Battlefield 3, now is clearly the time to do so with the release of Battlefield 3: Premium Edition."
That's an interesting review . . .
Something got borked.
I didn't know Close Quarters also had Lego class
Its fast and furious and get used to be shot in the back.
The levels are so well designed means there are multiple entries to every location, so campers are easily acted upon. Great Stuff
I'm glad people are enjoying this. I still have to wait to play it
CQ is awesome. It's not just only another maps and few new weapon. It's another way to play Battlefield.
