Digital Chumps - Battlefield 3: Close Quarters Review

Digital Chumps - Battlefield Close Quarters denies me the trade and gift I'm use to in the series. It tells me that I need to grab a PP2000 with x4 sights and run around like a mad man, who continually gets deployed back into the game as if there is some ADHD child respawning me back into action continually. It's an entirely new ballgame, and one that I consider most likely the brother of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 than anything else. Is that sort of comparison fair? Absolutely.

That's an interesting review . . .

Something got borked.

hesido4699d ago (Edited 4699d ago )

I didn't know Close Quarters also had Lego class

hesido4699d ago

Am I the only one who sees a lego screen shot instead of the review?

Its fast and furious and get used to be shot in the back.
The levels are so well designed means there are multiple entries to every location, so campers are easily acted upon. Great Stuff

I'm glad people are enjoying this. I still have to wait to play it

You're not alone, heading back from Afghan tomorrow so I got plenty of catching up to do. BF3 is a beast of a game. This borderlands 2 and halo 4 should keep me busy for a while.

Tonester9254698d ago

Yes! Borderlands 2 will keep me up for a few nights haha

CQ is awesome. It's not just only another maps and few new weapon. It's another way to play Battlefield.

Go into the game and it will send you a message to download it from the game. It's already free.

cyckiewicz4366d ago

I didn't received that info, and I started game a lot of times.

mandf4366d ago

Go to maps on bf3(in game) in the store and walla.

mandf4366d ago

lol just trying to be helpful

Heisenburger4366d ago

Lol no you were absolutely correct about how to get the dlc(I remember seeing it on there yesterday).

I actually gave you +helpful because you did what the author of the article could not.... look for a solution yourself.

I was just giving you a hard time. ;)

I'll + your reply simply for you being confident enough to take a joke at your expense.

mandf4366d ago

@ heisenburger

I wasn't offended. This site is very testy lately with the banter.

There is a photo attached to text showing there's no Close Quarters in in-game store. So, that doesn't help.

I may not even buy BF4 premium. I bought Bf3 at launch for 64 dollars and premium for 49.99. Thats over 100 dollars. A couple months later they decide to sell the "Premium version" for 59.99.

Pandamobile4369d ago

Things get cheaper as time goes on. Go figure?

HammadTheBeast4369d ago

Well, as of now its 2 for 1 on PS3 with game sharing. Dunno if that'll change, but I pitched in $20 with a friend and we both got it.

Nafon4369d ago

You can buy premium edition for $20 on Pc right now

dantesparda4369d ago

You can get premium for $25 on ps3

Ducky4369d ago

The maps are alright, but the real biggie here is the weapons that come with the DLC.
My favorite weapons are pretty much all from CQ aside for the AS Val.

ThatCanadianGuy5144369d ago

Nice. It's actually the only DLC i didn't buy haha.Time to jump back in the battlefield

KwietStorm_BLM4369d ago

lol so a year and a half later, they give away the worst DLC pack of the bunch. Well it's free anyway.

SignifiedSix914369d ago

Why does it have to be the crappiest of all DLCs?

I couldn't stand close quarters.
