The God of War movie is back on track, with the announcement of two new screenwriters.
Oh hell yes, i still think Jason Momoa could do an excellent Kratos
While most critics and gamers have praised his character arc, some of us can’t help but wonder one simple thing: Could the older, wiser Kratos stand a chance against his younger, more ferocious self?
Yes because young had one mission Chaos
Young Kratos seems more powerful than his future counterpart. Kratos mentions losing some of his previous powers from the Greek-saga in Ragnarok. However, some Santa Monica developers have stated that Old Kratos is stronger than his younger self.
Absolutely, young Kratos was still capable of jumping vertically. Something old Kratos seems completely incapable of.
old man's knees are to blame
Couldn't they just hug it out and old K could impart some wisdom and who to watch out for that will jack him up?!
Without a shred of doubt.
Yea 😂😂 definitely would with all his old weapons lawd 😂😂
Young Kratos has the strength power and speed but lacks the knowledge old Kratos has.. Old Kratos has knowledge on how to prepare and fully observes his suroundings. Old Kratos lives with the memories of wiping out Greece. He would rather be left alone and train his son to be a man.
"Old Kratos has knowledge on how to prepare and fully observes his suroundings." Anybody have seen Kratos and Batman together lately? Interesting...
no. the creators have already confirmed that the older, current kratos is the most powerful he's ever been.
I think older kratos is a stronger kratos, but young kratos possessed a greater power. The power of hope is what I honestly think gave young Kratos his overwhelming might.
The Spartan rage was his default mode, and check the Chronos fight, nothing compares from what I've seen, but I haven't played Ragnarok.
You fight like a young man. Admirable, but mistaken.
Young Kratos stronger, old Kratos smarter. I think it'd be a good fight.
Every god kratos kill, he is getting their powers. Right know Kratos the Old is the most powerful kratos. Wisdom and experiance is the key for use those powers well.
New (this old) kratos has chains and an axe. This wins over chains alone. Boi
probably yeh. young K was more ruthless and didnt stop until he won basically. we see glimpses of that in older K.
Old Kratos due to his experience in Ragnarok.
No doubt. Young Kratos was overcome with rage. Old Kratos could out smart him though.
Old Kratos. He's not just smarter, but he knows himself better than anyone. He knows what he's capable of and how to capitalize on his weaknesses. He would definitely be a smarter fighter. Young Kratos was brutal, but he relied on that rage too much. He's very smart too, but he fights like a man with something to prove. Old Kratos is very composed, only using his strength when he needs to (and even then, he's often holding back). He also has the element of surprise on his side: Old Kratos knows the Blades of Chaos intimately. Young Kratos does too, but he doesn't know the Leviathan Axe. From a narrative point of view, it makes sense for Old Kratos to beat Young Kratos; the idea of Kratos overcoming his old ways and being better is a great metaphor. Plus, c'mon. Guy lives in the land of Vikings. He's exposed to many ways of fighting out there.
Good question for David Jaffe
I'd say Old Kratos wins, and here's my reasoning: It's true that Old Kratos claims that he is not as powerful nor does he have many of the powers he used to back in Greece, but that's precisely it. It's mentioned that Kratos's powers were connected to Olympus and Greece, and that he is limited in the Nine Realms. If him and Young Kratos fought, they'd either fight in Greece, where Old Kratos would regain his old powers and probably get them to Zeus's level as he'd by default be top god; or they'd fight in the Nine Realms, where Young Kratos would be limited and Old Kratos would have the edge in experience, control and weaponry.
With ease cuz he doesn't have a brat to babysit.
