CalmDownTom says, "There is no doubt that this game is a brilliant nostalgia trip for any fans of the PS2 versions. Actually, there’s no doubt that this collection is brilliant in general."
A series that has been around for 20 years, GameSpew looks back on the history of Ratchet & Clank before the release of Rift Apart.
Nice retrospective article. I love this series so much, and am dying to jump into Rift Apart this Friday!
*I have 7 Platinums across all of the releases. This will be #8. :)
The Lombax and his faithful robot are back in amazing form.
I'm glad they went the full reimagining route. It really shows how far technology has come. The differences here are night and day. Still, watching the video and seeing the original running at 60fps does make me a little sad that Insomniac didn't go for it. Regardless, their recent outing is beautiful and certainly a labor of love.
Well done, Insomniac.
Any one notice besides me, Ratchet in each game his head is bigger
and his body is thinner??
The gaming world is rife with partnerships. Recently Joel and Ellie from 'The Last of Us' and Booker and Elizabeth from 'Bioshock Infinite' burst onto the scene winning the hearts of gamers everywhere. But which partnerships have made to top five list...?
I disagree about Red and Pikachu, but seeing as the author admitted to being a big Pokemon fan, I can easily respect his opinion. I completely agree with the rest of this list though.
Garcia Hotspur and Johnson.
clearly thwe author has missed out on Shadows of the Damned.
Sweet. I loved the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games.
I'm sure this should be an automatic purchase for the fans of the originals.
I must say that the first game looks AMAZING in 1080p.
