After the hugely successful Kickstarter back in March, Double Fine are now hard at work on the game currently known as ‘Double Fine Adventure’. Part of the funding for the project was also tied to a documentary (produced by 2 Player Productions) which is currently being filmed alongside production, giving the backers a true insight into video game production, showing the trials and tribulations that a studio goes through to get a game to release.
If you backed the project, you’ll have been watching the documentary episodes over on the Kickstarter page, seeing the game slowly come together through pre-production. In the latest episode of the documentary, Tim Shafer discussed the way in which they they decide on codenames for their projects, and in amongst this revealed that pre-production had begun on a number of sequels to popular Double Fine titles.
