PES 2013 Wins CVG Award at E3 2012 as the best Sports game!

A solid performance well rewarded.

Nearly few weeks have passed since this years E3 came to a close. Since then, those in gaming press who were in attendance have taken the time to reflect on the event before offering up their own best (and sometimes worst!) in show awards. CVG are no different, and a short time ago they posted their own take as to what was ”Best in Show’‘ and PES 2013 finds itself on the the winners podium having been awarded ”Best Sports Title of E3 2012”.

Good for them, they really are getting hammered by FIFA sales wise, nice to know the're still trying to make the best game they can.

Not just sales wise. Licences teams & stadiums, kits & badges, but more importently the ping pong gameplay has driven people to Fifa. I used to hate Fifa, but this Gen it's the only football game worth my money. I'd love to go back to PES, lets hope it's this year that makes me return once again...

well pes13 also won and cheatscc. But thats not the point, the point here is that PES11 was a good game, pes12 is a amazing and fun game and pes13 will be the best futbol"soccer" game ever, like it or not and fifa is also a good game but more for teens and kids that don't know much about the sport or asual games that don't want to have a real challenge.

note. I just saw who are the sponsors of gca the one that actually give fifa13 best sport game (because the few otehr awards where best phone games and some other cheap meaningless awards) and they are most american owners haters of pes like ign(who have been hating on pes 12 and 13 with no sence or logics) and even usatoday has a say lol, g4? gigant bomb? wft hahaha i will stop there sine those and the rest know zero or very little about the sport and let them self impress by a nice presentation witch fifa does well and we all know awards r most of them are won by money, thats how its in movies, music and I bet in video games. but in term of gameplay, fun and sim pes13 beats fifa13, period and that whats fans think and most reviews have been saying.

Fox Engine

Well the fox engine will be use for next gen, seabeas "the pes creator" is not even making pes13, he is focus on pes4 for the next gen, this time they want to make use they don't make the same mistake and want to start strong for the net gen and I know it will be mind blowing because they are using the next kojima's engine.

God PES used to be so superior, the physics and animations were so much more advanced. It was a much more fun game. Yet this gen, FIFA has dominated, and has been the better game. Fifa 12's impact tech was great for a game of it's genre.

your comparing a shitty series/sport like madden to pes/fifa, you must be on crack. never ever compare the stupid sport that is nfl (handegg) to the beautiful game that is football, please that is a insult to billions of people that watch football (last world cup was watched by 3billion people)

+fifa actually brings new features to the table and change the gameplay compared to madden infact they made a new engine for fifa 12 that is why every fifa sells over 10mill and fifa 12 is the fastest/highest selling sports game ever and ea said it had sold 10mill in january so it must be on 15mill by now
