I would say finally but to be honest I don't need this. What I wouldn't mind is some Justin.tv though!

Would be great to have a UStream app like the iPhone4/iPod Touch 4G one to live stream. I only watch YT videos on my computer. Even if I had a 3G version of the Vita, which I don't, I would never use it to watch YT videos it would burn internet traffic in seconds.

Do you know how many people have been wanting to use YouTube? And now that Sony delivers an App for it, you say "nah, I want something else instead".

FriedGoat4725d ago

hah I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. I'm just saying I wasn't one of those people annoyed by it not being on the vita.

Tonester9254725d ago

I think there should be a YouTube app for the PS3 too.

Watching dragonball z abridged on the new YouTube app. The vita version of YouTube is far superior to the android and ios version. And yes its HD compatible. You can turn HD on and off

Fullmetalevolust4726d ago

Q:

How does the cross-pollination of PlayStation 3, Vita and mobile fit into Sony’s larger vision? Is it a part of a push to get a larger base of developers on Sony platforms generally?

A:

The answer in simple terms is yes.
Bearing in mind it’s been only four months since we launched PS Vita, I’m very happy with how the Vita has come out.
We've worked really closely with the hardware group over the last few years to discuss what devices and capabilities would make sense.
We wanted to create the idea of a portable gaming system with our hardware group that we also wanted as a game development group. Four months later, we're still working hard to realise the potential and vision that our hardware team has created with PS Vita.
