''Modern day video games tend to be extremely accessible. Even established franchises now come with mechanics and elements that allow the game to be enjoyed by everyone and anyone. Blazing Souls Accelate is not one of these accessible games. Does hard work result in a enjoyable game, or just a frustrating experience?
Blazing Souls Accelate is the very definition of a typical JRPG. The story is as close as to generic as you would hope to get. Set after a seven year war, our protagonist is Zelos finds himself floating around without much purpose. After finding a seal known as the core elemental Zelos begins to investigate the origins of the core. Leading a team throughout his investigation Zelos discovers a war is waging between humans and a species of super-humans.''
Aksys Games announces a variety of sales just in time for the holidays. Now you can either give your favorites games to your family or friends, or purchase a little something for yourself
TouchGen: Acceleration (or in Blazing Soul’s case: Accelation) is a term used to describe change. In physics, it is the rate of change of velocity- which in itself defines the change of an object’s position. For a subtitle that implies such change, Blazing Souls Accelate does surprising little to capture the tactical RPG gamer’s imagination. Blazing Souls Accelate contains a host of tweaks and options that amount to little when stacked up against the fundamental same-ness of its grid based gameplay.
Pocket Gamer: More abrasive than a scouring pad covered in Bernard Manning routines, Blazing Souls Accelate asks a lot from you and returns so little within its J-RPG structure.
Yet for the masochists - those people who want bewildering complexity, an absence of hand-holding, and who don't care whether a game can carry a story - the title might just be what they're looking for.
