Next-gen Apple MacBook Pros to gain multi-touch trackpad

The next models of the MacBook Pro edition will have a multi-touch pad. Apple's exclusive multi-touch technology as placed in their IPhone and ITouch will now be implemented in their MacBook line. The implementation of Apple's multi-touch in their laptops did not take very long as stated by AppleInsider "In very much the same way that iSight video cams have become commonplace on nearly all of Apple's personal computer systems, the Mac maker will reportedly scale the gesture-based input technology across its notebook lines during the course of the year."

And also the New Notebooks will also have Cupertino-based company to employ Penryn-based Core 2 Duo mobile process from Intel Corp. Which means the New notes books will run better and faster then the older version. "which in their most likely form for the MacBook Pro would range in clock frequency from 2.5GHz to 2.6GHz with 6MB of Level 2 cache."

And yet the biggest tech companies in America are essentially that. They buy up all the small comps only to kill them off and steal what they have, and if they can't buy em they bleed them to death.

Eventually they’ll realize the value is with the employee not the company. Buying an IP means nothing if the people who contributed are let go. They’ll get it one day.

tech is different because they buy threats and then kill them. Twitter bought Vine and did nothing with it. Despite people seemingly liking it. Could've had tiktok a decade before bytedance. go figure.

Monopolies shouldn't be allowed regardless. Not just for gaming.

MrCrimson2h ago

They buy IPs not talent. That's why these buyouts never work and the IPs die. Right now it's too expensive to develop games - but I expect that to shift maybe as AI tools can make it easier. The best games have been indie games for awhile as big developers fuck their ips to death with "games as a service" -
