I can not wait for final fantasy Xlll-3. That is a day one purchase right there.

Summons754323d ago

someone clearly didn't watch the secret ending

Capt-FuzzyPants4323d ago

You mean the one hinting at a 13-3. Both the DLC secret ending and the regular secret ending in the game basically say there is going to be a third one

Lovable4323d ago

@Summons75
LOL it was clear as day that there will be a 3rd installment in the series of FF 13. Did you even watch the same ending?

PshycoNinja4323d ago

Do we really need another one..... really? They need to send Toriyama back to the drawing board and give Kitase and Nomura more creative control over the franchise. The people who made Final Fantasy truly great games are Sakaguchi, Kitase and Nomura. Toriyama only started getting creative control around the time Sakaguchi left Square. Which was a little before X released.

Am I the only one seeing the trend here.

NeXXXuS4323d ago

Don't forget Nobuo Uematsu and his amazing original scores. :)

-Gespenst-4323d ago

"Personally, I’d try to continue the paradox endings like Serah and Snow setting out to find the 13 crystals in “The Couple’s Departure” or “Control The Pudding With Pudding” where Serah and Noel take the form of monsters."

It's ideas like this which necessitate giving Toriyama less creative control.

Capt-FuzzyPants4323d ago

Yeah I don't think anyone wants to see that. He had to have been joking right?

Lucretia4323d ago

game was so good, the cliff hanger ending def was one of the best ff endings imo. greeeat game. needs a part 3

Capt-FuzzyPants4323d ago

Doesn't top 10 or Crisis Core though. Doesn't even go any where close to those endings.

NeXXXuS4323d ago (Edited 4323d ago )

I think most of us that played Final Fantasy VII and then Crisis Core knew what was going to happen, but still an amazing and sad ending indeed.

Yangus4323d ago

I wait FFXIII-3 FFXIII-2 not bad..game.

Elvis4323d ago

I also can't wait for FF Xlll-3, it's going to be awesome.

I’m Glad Atlus & SE Changed Dates To Avoid Competing With Shadow Of The Erdtree

Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."

H919h ago

More intelligent than guerilla games

raWfodog1h ago(Edited 1h ago)

Atlus is releasing their game one week before Erdtree, SE is releasing theirs one week after.

HZD released four days before Zelda, HFW released one week before Elden Ring.

It seems to me like they are still releasing their games too close to Erdtree.

Yuji Naka guilty of insider trading breaks silence to accuse Square Enix producer of lies

I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence

solideagle13d ago

can you please give some of us who don't know anything about this, a summary of what happened?

Chocoburger13d ago

Balan was knowingly rushed out by S-E, it had an extremely short dev cycle and was fairly low budget.
Naka was the game's director until near the end when he was fired or perhaps he quit, I forgot.

carrotcakeag13d ago

@Chocoburger Yeah they did fire and replace him which caused him to unload a bunch of rants about the company. The project only existed because of Naka in the first place, he convinced Square to give him one shot at making a platformer. They gave him an opportunity but pulled the rug out before he was done for reasons not explained.

Please o please don't turn dragon quest into final fantasy square enix we dont wont that. Dragon quest works well just as it I. Plus you'll piss off Japanese fans to.

jznrpg17d ago

Hopefully they don’t. From this it doesn’t sound like that is the case and development is just taking too long.
