No-one would blame anyone for thinking that the recent explosion of titles in that genre has resulted in quality going down and ideas becoming a minimal part of the development process as more and more studios latch onto it as a cheap and easy way to deliver content.
The tower defense game Unstoppable Gorg is now available for free on the App Store.
Playfire and Green Man Gaming are sweet enough to give out four totally free PC games available for download, as long as you’re signed up for both sites and link them together, like so. From February 8th to the 11th, there will be one game made downloadable at no charge for 24 hours, so be sure to check every day, otherwise you’ll be missing out on the others.
