GamingUnwrapped: Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Review

Virtua Fighter is a fighting series that has long been overshadowed by the much more popular fighting series, despite being one of the pioneers of the genre, or in particular, 3D fighting games. VF5 is archaic.. stiff, crappy animations, the opposite of fluid. Tekken is the opposite, it flows smoothly, has great gameplay and graphics.

Okay, but final showdown's fluidity is unrivaled. The team went in and redid all of the animations. This updated version looks great in motion. Anyone that's played the update knows what im talking about.

Virtua Fighter has always been a more technical slower paced game. If people enjoy button mashing super-hyper-combo noob fighting games that cater to the casuals its all good. I just hate when they knock a game they either suck at,or don't take the time to learn how to play. They include a practice mode for a reason.
