Following Microsoft’s disappointing conference the bar was set very low. This gave EA an advantage and they should have taken advantage of this opportunity.
Instead all we saw was sports, more sports and then a whole lot of greed.
If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.
WTMG's Kyle Nicol:
"Was Dead Space 3 really that bad?
Well, it’s a complicated question. Dead Space 3 is undeniably the weakest of the trilogy. It’s a game that deviates so far from the original formula, that it throws a lot of what made Dead Space special in the first place out of the window. Although, where it does make up for it is one of the best cooperative shooters on the market, even after all this time. Do I recommend playing this game ten years later? Hell yes. But make sure your expectations are in the right place. It has a lot of problems that bring it down."
With the upcoming Dead Space Remake, we replay and rank the original three games.

...Lost Planet 3?
They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.
"EA’s E3 press conference left a negative impact"
To YOU.
I'll be buying Premium because I'll be buying all the expansions anyway. (how is it greedy when they sell you more stuff for less money?)
I'm definitely looking forward to MOH:WF much much more than BLOPS2.
Sim City looked great and sports fans will be pleased.
only Crysis 3 and Most Wanted 2 were a toss up.
I really want to see Sim City 5. I miss playing that franchise.
I already got premium. anything battlefield related I will buy. they never released anything disappointing to me that is.
I wouldn't say the EA conference left me with a negative feeling. True, there were things shown that I was not interested in, but isn't that always the case? I think very few gamers today are so open minded that they care about all the various genres and titles equally. Still, there were a lot of things I wanted to see and most of what I saw was interesting. Am I going to buy any of it in the future? Maybe, and isn't that the whole point of the conference? They wanted exposure for their products and we got exposed and we get to ponder if we want to spend money on their products. Obviously it had the desired effect since we are here discussing it.
I don't like the fact that NHL13 or Fifa13 won't be coming to the PS Vita :( sucks!!
