Strategic War in Europe, by Wastelands Interactive, is very possibly another great entry into the turn-based strategy genre. At first glance, the graphics do leave something to be desired, however graphics alone do not determine whether or not a game is worth playing. One of the biggest concerns with a game really is the music. You can get lost in a game that has the right music to fit it, and this game’s music works well. It’s the right balance of dramatic tones and subtle melodies to keep you happy, but not distracted.

It is an ambitious game that tries to recreate the stages of World War II across all of Europe on a single map.
