Amazon and Capcom have revealed their exclusive pre-order bonuses for the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 action video game from Capcom, DmC: Devil May Cry.
It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.
Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Doesn't matter how many pre-order bonuses that they add towards this game, the new DMC game is still going to suck ass.
this game needs to be deleted from this universe..cancel that crap!!!!!!!
Yeah!/fake joy.
A second reason to show off my awesome photoshopping skills! How thrilling.

I wish I had made this only to joke but unfortunately I was driven by my exasperation towards Capcom's practices. And it just had to happen to DmC. What a surprise!
I really thought it would be about costumes but exclusive weapons/perks and extra red orbs are much worse.
Way to go, Capcom! I don't remember having to pre-order any Devil May Cry game (or Onimusha!) in order to access every single weapon and upgradable skill.
Now, I still believe Ninja Theory can deliver a good game and I can't wait to see their E3 demos but, no matter how good or bad the game appears to be, nothing will change the fact that Capcom is ruining every single franchise it owns by making developers take content away from possible buyers.
The Devil May Cry franchise is known for its amazing gameplay mechanics and varied Devil Arms/firearms/powers. You don't simply tell your fanbase that some of those will be locked and still expect a lot of early sales.
Who would pre-order this crap anyway?
If there was a pre-order bonus, or FREE DLC to make Dante look like the REAL Dante from Devil May Cry, then maybe I'd play this.
