With Assassins Creed 3's release coming soon, many fans were wondering whether the game would also be coming to the PS Vita, this was then confirmed when the game on the PS Vita was spotted on Zavvi.
Excellent news can't wait to see more on the title.
I'm getting it on PS3, but it would def be cool to take down and assassinate people on the go. :-) *edit: I'm getting Assassin's Creed 3 I meant sorry lol
It's not on PS3. It's a Vita exclusive spin-off of AC3. @ Relientk77 Sorry, my mistake.
i think he means Assassins Creed 3 XD
it seems that the Vita has more exclusives that the 360
This is excellent! While my girlfriend occupy the tv with AC3, I'll be able to play this on the Vita :)
Glad to see it won't be a direct port of ACIII, but hopefully it will feel like more than just a re-skinned version of it and have some unique elements to it beyond just a different character.
yeah right hope they show some game play tomorrow
If they aren't doing an AC3 port then they should at least make it set in a different and more interesting setting, for this is a wasted opportunity by using the same US setting again. I want Japan lol.
It's not the same place, it's in New Orleans, and would you please inform us how you've played AC3 already to know it's not an interesting setting?
I just don't get why people think it's an uninteresting setting. It was a war which involved multiple nations including British, French, Spanish, Germans, and multiple Native American tribes all fighting for one thing. So much happened in that decade...
Its uninteresting because those people are either not American or they're part of the young/majority of the American population that thinks American history is boring.
Glad to hear this! People will buy this title because it is not the same copy as its console counterpart.
Looking forward to seeing video footage of this soon. Hopefully the graphics live up to what the Vita is capable of. This is awesome news!
Some one has posted pictures of the Female assassin and pic of the setting on twitter! Looks great and Sounds even better!!! http://twitpic.com/9s2fcw http://twitpic.com/9s2fhv
I'd tap that like a keg. Gangstabitch.
I'm not as excited about this one as other vita games. Maybe I'll change my mind as the release dates get closer.
Very good. Don't know why they call it AC3. I guess it makes it look more important than a standard portable spin-off, but then again it could also make it look like a PSP-style port to some people. It's great that it takes place in N.O. It allows them presumably to avoid the complication of season/weather change from the main AC3, but it also means all exclusive environments for Vita owners. Large new playing areas represent quite en investment for a Vita game, so props to Ubi for that. But beware, we might see these Louisiana maps recycled in one of the later standalone expensions to AC3 they'll no doubt release for PS3. That would be a good way for them to justify the development costs. They could even end up simply porting an enhanced, more content rich version of this to the PS3, next holiday season. Hoping the game world will be decently big. I'd like it to be maybe equivalent to either one of Florence or Venice from AC2, plus some of the smaller towns that game had. Maybe even Rome from Brotherhood. Either way, that's great news for the embattled Vita.
Wow, that sounds fantastic. It makes me wish it was for consoles too. Mostly cus half my family lives in the South and I used to visit NO a lot (until Katrina...). I remember it smelled really bad there but I still have fond memories...
Just one word: CANT WAIT
That's three words.
Lol this game sounds like amix between roots and the boondocks with AC elements lol.
Hell yes this is what vita needs, a big exclusive game in a massive franchise. NO is the perfect setting also, cant wait to see it back in the day.
Fantastic! I still think that VITA will be better portable system ever (I have a 3DS), I'm Only Waiting to see If the price will go down on this E3... I love my 3DS, but VITA has so much potential...
Ill be buying this, but i must admit im not a fan of lead female characters in games.
they should stick to making my dinner.
and child birthing, lol. jk ladies i loves ya.
