‘Geekstress Goddess’ Felicia Day shares thoughts on gaming and more

TaT writes: Best recognized for her self-created webseries “The Guild,” where she plays the protagonist, Felicia Day is also well-known among various sci-fi fans for starring in many of Joss Whedon’s projects. Whedon, director of “The Avengers,” cast her in the seventh season of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and then later as Neil Patrick’s leading lady in his webseries: “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”

Im not sure why.. but I still find Felicia cute. Maybe cuz she is.

I agree. I also don't get the hate that a lot of people have for her. What exactly has she done to make so many people hate her? She genuinely likes games (which is more than can be said for most "celebrity gamers"), she seems nice, and she puts a good image on female gamers. I'd rather see more Felicia Days in the industry than idiots like Olivia Munn.

I've seen people call her an attention whore but why? What makes her any more attention whorey than the multitide of male celebrities who do the same thing? Why is Seth Green considered an acceptable gaming celebrity but Felicia Day is hated?

Lettuce beef cereal here,

The attention whore argument is totally irrelevant as every human being on this planet desires attention in some shape or form because its a good form of validation and socalising.

There is nothing wrong with seeking attention and I happen to think she is great, good looking, redhead (fetish brahs), gamer, intelligent and well spoken.

If they didn't let the cellphone guy touch the 3rd one in first place, they wouldn't have to dance around like clowns trying to make money.

Xristo129d ago

We've been asking for less "boring" seasons... "boring"... not "buggy"... same ol' rehashed content just a different color is not working.
