Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Aims To Blow you Away

By: Eddie Beal

City Interactive has released a new trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 and it looks so good they had to add a statement, “Everything you are about to see is actual game footage created by the game engine.” The game is built on the CryEngine, developed by CryTek and used for Crysis 2. If the game does look this good then developers will have a tough choice in choosing the popular Unreal engine or the CryEngine.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is releasing on PC, PS3, and XBox 360 on August 21. That may be a good spot for a title that could be good but will not likely be able to compete with the bigger titles of September, October, and November.

I actually quite enjoyed the first game, so I'll be giving this one a shot as well.
I'm excited.

The first one was a trainwreck, so I'll pass on the sequel as well.

I'll rent this game once it comes out because I've been fiending for a good ps3 sniping game that is in first person view. I was very disappointed when I first played the sniper elite v2 demo and it was third person :/ (plus the graphics where sub-par in my opinion, amongst other issues.)
