In an interview with games site Kikizo, Nintendo's Katsuya Eguchi let slip that the company would make anything from light guns to guitars for the Wii, and that gameplay experience is its number one priority.
"If the game requires a peripheral, then we'll supply a peripheral," he said. "It's all about the end user's experience, and that's the top priority for us."
