Harran is a huge city with the huge number of zombies that are impossible to count, There's no cure yet found for the infected people but an medicine called Antazin will help the infected people to stay alive just for a short while, the main protagonist Kyle Crane sent from a large group called GRE to Harran for looking out if there's still survivors there,
At first the game force you to do not rush for killing or wandering around the city, you have to pass the tutorial first, after that finally you're free to go out, at first you'll ran out of breath so fast or you can't kill so fast but your skills will improve as you go forward through, I really like this strategy that some developers use for their games, it prepares the player for the adventure! it's what makes the game fun,
You can't complete the game without climbing over the walls and buildings, yes, it's like mirror's edge but with zombies, most of humans are afraid of heights but climbing over the walls while a group of zombies chasing you so fast is SO GODDAMN INTENSE, I really like this element in Dying light and it's unique, you can't find any other game like this!
Graphics are impressive, lighting's and shadows are beautiful and there's no doubt that this is one of those games that are completely impossible to run on last-gen consoles but I hate how same characters look like, the developer said they were working on the game for 3 years but if they could've make a specific face for each character it'd be great though it's not a big problem!
The gameplay at night is so much harder than during the sunlight, you have to keep your eyes open on the map at the corner because you should not EVER get noticed by Volatiles, Volatiles are big and fast and tough zombies that will kill you with almost 3 or 4 attacks but don't be disappointed you can skip the night by sleeping on a bed whenever you're at a safe house! overall the gameplay is ok, it doesn't much hurt the player for being limited in the city, you can feel the freedom in the game, you can craft every weapon, you can climb on every edge, that's what I want in an open-world zombie game! but it's still lack of some good elements that could've make it better, for example I didn't like the crafting system because it doesn't really seem effective or it's hard to find an hot weapon with lot of ammo's in it, I mean in a city with that much amount of zombies it's not fair to not have an good hot weapon, the controls in dying light are pretty much different than other games which made it hard to aim an pistol or any hot weapon, I experience a lot glitches while jumping over the walls, sometimes it doesn't work well!
The story gets better as the player moves forward through the game but it's kinda wasting time at first half of the game, the story didn't got me much into the characters, I felt like I was a slave doing the objectives alone, the writer could make the story much more emotional and more inspiring,
optional objectives are worth to play but the main story doesn't worth to play it for the second time, because it doesn't have different ending for the main story,
overall after too much delays and interruptions, I think it's worth it, it's an great game but it's no longer a masterpiece!
It has been more than ten years since Dying Light was released, but what happened to the $386,000 'My Apocalypse Edition' of the game?
Small video game maps that are packed with things to do are better than huge but empty maps. Here are five small but brilliant maps in games.
To download the additional content players should launch Dying Light and from the menu choose the option “DLC Packs” and download all their new content. If you have never played The Following before, now is the best time to try it for free!
Such a great game. The devs really should be proud and they are def serving the gaming community well.
