Although The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild introduced a variety of completely new enemies for players to face off against, some players couldn’t help but feel like there weren’t enough recurring enemies from the previous entries in the series. One such boss enemy that players have been hoping will make a return in Tears of the Kingdom is Gleeok.
I’ve been dying to fight this dragon-like enemy again in a Zelda game, so their inclusion would be big for me. Don’t get confused by the dragons flying around Hyrule, these monsters are nasty and mean business in previous entries.
Will Gleeok Be a Boss in Tears of the Kingdom
Gleeoks will return to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as mini-bosses. These can be found across Hyrule and the Sky Islands. This was confirmed by the trailer Nintendo dropped around a month before the game’s release. Of course, there will be a bunch of other enemies as well. Players will encounter Fire, Ice, Thunder, and King Gleeoks.
If you’ve been playing the Legends of Zelda games for a while but still don’t know who Gleeok is, then worry not as that’s completely understandable. After all, Gleeok has only made an appearance in three of the many entries of this insanely popular video game series. Those games are the original Legend of Zelda, Oracle of Seasons, and Phantom Hourglass.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you haven’t played the original Legend of Zelda, then you might be confused as to why Gleeok has three heads instead of the usual two. This is because the three headed Gleeok has only appeared in the first Zelda game, while the other appearances of Gleeok have been with him having only three heads. Zelda games typically feature different designs, but are based on the same monster.
