How Do You Make Elemental Arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

There are no elemental arrows in the game this time around. Instead, by using the Fuse ability to fuse certain items with your arrows, you can give your regular arrows elemental effects. Simply press the Up key on the D-pad while drawing your bow. This will allow you to Fuse materials on to your arrows, but they must be in your inventory.

This relies on Fusing items. You do not need to worry about different bow parts like the grip or bow string, or different kinds of archers stance. When using elemental arrows, you need to still have accuracy  you’ll waste that item.

Different types of materials grant certain effects. Keese eyes grant a slight homing effect to arrows. White chuchu jelly adds a frost explosion effect to your short. Fire fruit adds fire damage and can set the land ablaze. Experimenting will be needed to find all the materials and possible effects out there, but you will have many ways of making your arrows more effective in any situation.

This should get you well on the way to being a danger from range. Keep your eyes out for new bows as well, as some of the better ones have higher zoom rates, meaning those difficult shots can be made that much easier.
