While sprinting helps you travel faster or increase your jump distance for large gaps, you want to avoid constantly sprinting. You can alert them to your presence if you are running near enemies. This makes playing stealthily harder. My preferred method of eliminating enemies is sneaking up and sniping them with my bow, so sprinting is merely for traveling when I play.

Does Sprinting Require Stamina in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Yes, sprinting requires stamina. Link’s stamina will drain as you sprint, and Link will be winded and tired if it drops to zero. This leaves Link vulnerable for a few seconds until the stamina bar recharges. Stamina will recharge quicker if you do not fully drain it, so instead of sprinting until you can’t let off just before your stamina bar reaches zero to regain it faster.
