How Do You Increase Your Stamina in Tears of the Kingdom
Now, there are two ways to increase your stamina in Tears of the Kingdom. The first way is by completing shrines to earn Blessings of Light which you can use at Goddess Statues to increase your stamina. The second way is by eating very specific meals that grant you temporary but very useful stamina boosts.
How To Increase Stamina Using Goddess Statues
To increase your stamina from goddess statues, first you find a shrine, you might have to complete a puzzle or do something else depending on what type of shrine it is. Now, shrines are divided into five types. The types are:
- Puzzle shrines, which you’ll have to solve by making use of your abilities.
- Combat training shrines, which simply teach you the basics of combat.
- Proving Grounds, where Link will lose access to his weapons and armor and the player will have to make do with what they find in the arena to defeat a guardian constructs.
- Rauru’s Blessings, where you simply have to open a chest to get the Blessing of Light.
This way of increasing your stamina is more recommended than eating specific meal. If you played Breath of the Wild, then you’ll know about Shrines, which are scattered around the map, both on the land of Hyrule as well as in the Sky Region.
Additionally, you might come across Shrine Quests, which you’ll have to first complete if you want the shrine itself to spawn.
Every time you complete a shrine, you’ll earn a Blessing of Light. Once you collect four of these bad boys, you can head on over to your nearest Goddess Statue and speak to it. The statue will give you the option between increasing your health or your stamina. Select the stamina option and enjoy climbing, sprinting, and swimming for a longer period of time.
Alternatively, another type of resource you can find in the wild is called ‘Sage’s Will’. These serve just how Blessings of Light do and if you find four of these, you can also exchange them at a Goddess Statue to increase either your heart or stamina.
How To increasing Stamina with Meals
The second way of increasing your stamina in Tears of the Kingdom is by eating specific meals or consuming specific elixirs. You can check whether or not a meal will give you an increase in stamina in the cooking menu near a cauldron.
One thing to keep in mind is that meals give you a temporary boost in stamina and not a permanent one. Because of this, this method is more useful when you need some extra stamina to climb or swim to a specific place, or if you just want to sprint for a while longer.
