Having arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is essential for master archers and combining items with the bow, such my favorite, the Bomb Flower to make a bomb arrow. I always find myself lacking arrows no matter how many I have, so I’ve gone out of my way to farm as many arrows as possible.
Whether you’re looking to stock up on arrows or replenish your ammo supply during intense battles, there are different methods to obtain them in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom whether you are early game or late game.
Where to Farm Arrows in Tears of the Kingdom
One effective method is to farm arrows from enemies equipped with bows. Engage in combat, dodge their shots, and collect the arrows they fire at you. By strategically positioning yourself just out of their range or using a wooden shield to block the arrows, you can gather free arrows without depleting your inventory or Rupees. This is by far the easiest way I’ve found, but you must leave the archer enemy alive while defeating the melee enemies.

Another option is to search for crates, large boxes, pots, and barrels scattered throughout the game. Use the Ultrahand to lift them and drop them on the ground, breaking them open to reveal items, including arrows. This approach saves weapon durability and can provide a steady supply of arrows.
If you prefer a more straightforward approach, you can purchase arrows from various merchants and shops found in different locations, such as stables and villages, across Hyrule. Keep in mind that arrows may be sold individually or in bundle of arrows, but they can be costly, so it’s advisable to buy them selectively when necessary.
How to Craft Arrows in Tears of the Kingdom
While crafting arrows is not possible in Tears of the Kingdom, there are alternative ways to obtain them. Scanning compatible amiibo can spawn barrels, crates, and chests that occasionally contain arrows. Additionally, assisting Addison with maintaining the President Hudson signs can also reward you with arrows.
